We are seeking early career or experienced psychologists with a passion for working collaboratively, in a neurodiversity affirmative way with kids, teens and families presenting with a range of challenges. The position is very flexible and could be part-time or subcontracting with a full time position available for the right applicant.



About the role

Key Selection Criteria


  • Fully registered psychologist (AHPRA)​
  • Be highly motivated to work with neurodivergent kids and families, from a neurodiversity affirming framework (or have a passion to learn more about this area)
  • Have strong (or developing) clinical knowledge and skills in working with kids and teens in either/both
    • Intervention to support developing self regulation skills, addressing anxiety and mood difficulties, behaviour management, interpersonal skills, flexible thinking and so forth, in addition to parent/family psychoeducation, school support. In addition to mental health specific therapy and treatment across a range of high prevalence disorders.
    • Assessment skills using formal and informal assessments, excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong ability to synthesise information from a range of sources in to a coherent and accessible clinical report and feedback, and clinical experience in developing clinically relevant and specific recommendations.
  • Professional indemnity insurance
  • Demonstrated experience in engaging with children/adolescents, including those who are neurodivergent.
  • Have excellent team work skills
  • A growth and learning mindset.

Highly regarded skills:
  • Demonstrated experience in assessment or intervention in an autism support setting
  • Demonstrated experience in family work
  • ​Demonstrated experience in a clinical mental health setting
