Online Therapy and Funding
We are transitioning soon to Online Therapy. There are different types of funding for online therapy. Please read below about your current funding and how this applies to you.
If you are Plan Managed, we will invoice your plan manager as usual.
If you are self funding you can access telehealth services and payment can be arranged via credit card/debit card (Mastercard or Visa) payments through Halaxy, our practice management software. Please complete the attached form to provide your details.
As you may be aware, Medicare had previously placed restraints on Medicare rebates for Telehealth sessions. As of April 20th, 2020 these have been removed and we are able to charge our usual fees, and clients are able to access rebates as they normally would in face to face sessions.
We will require your credit/debit card information to process payments online after online sessions. Payments will be processed by Halaxy, our practice management software. Debit cards that are Visa or Mastercard are also suitable.
For current families whom have suffered financial loss and have health care cards, we maybe able to bulk bill sessions please speak to your clinician about this. New clients in financial distress will need to access CAREinMIND services.
CAREinMIND sessions can be conducted via Telehealth as per our usual arrangements.
